hi , due to some old configuration on my servers users can send as any user in organization. receive connectors seems ok , i think there is some extended ad rights that gave users this right.
how can i check why users can do this?
how can i fix this issue?

I have been having problems receiving emails larger then ~8.5 meg since migrating to exchange 2007 from 2003. I have a single exchange 2007 server now
The sender receives the 550 5.2.3 RESOLVER.RST.SendSizeLimit; message too large for this sender error.
I have run a script suggested in a different post to get connector send/receive sizes

My organization is running Small Business Server 2008 with Exchange. After installing Exchange users reported not reciveing emails from Comcast and a few other domains. Looking at the logs, domains including gmail and comcast are unable to deliver email to our Exchange mailboxes. They receive an error message like the following.

Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 451 451 4.7.0 Timeout waiting for client input (state 18).
Other domains send just fine. Any ideas what is causing the 451 4.7.0 connection timeout error message? The following is an example SMTPReceive log.

We've recently implemented a new Exchange 2010 server. Most of the default parameters are in place and haven't been changed. Recently we've notice a couple of complaints from people who are trying to send a large volume of email (about 100 recipients or so) they get the following rejection message:
The server responded 421 4.4.2 Message submission rate for this client has exceeded the configured limit
The recipients are all located on the local Exchange server.
Is there a way to allow an exception for a single user on the Exchange server to exceed this default submission rate limit? OR is this a parameter that needs to be set for the whole server?
What setting needs to be changed to allow this exception (either per user or globally)?

Shortly, we have installed Exchange 2010 2 weeks ago. on Windows server 2008 R2 (64bit)
User and room accounts were created normally, also normal email traffic is working without problems.
Now we started to recieve emails in poisioned mail queue.
All the emails that get stuck there are Room booking/Meeting request. If the meeting request includes only domain local email adress everything is normal, email request is not stuck in poisioned queue. But if in meeting request is even 1 email that is outside
out companys email, then the email gets stuck in poisioned queue.
Any idea what to check or change?
Exchange has sp1 installed .. if i remember correctly the version is ending with .013

We need certificates for communication like smtp/iis and we do get third party certs. However we see self signed certificates also assigned to smtp services on servers which already have 3rd party certificate assigned to these smtp services. If multiple certificate assigned on smtp service on a server, are these self signed certs in use?

We are planning to disable AutoForward on our remotedomain to the Internet, and would like to allow exceptions. The only way I know how to allow an excpetion for a conditional rule with AutoForward disabled is with a transport rule, but I'm concerned we may have to create 20 or more for individuals, and it could increase. Are there any recommendations for the number, or any kind of thresholds for transport rules? Should I be concerned about resource use, or processing time, etc?

I have one server exchange 2010 with no edge. I want to make sure I can apply also this procedure. I have a certificate for IIS, but I guess this new certificate will be for SMTP? We have 2 domain to send email in TLS encryption. All the rest will be normal email.
Also, the certificate UCC would be fine if I add the 2 domain in the certificate?

In recent days, I have had emails blocked. I have then received messages from Outlook stating that there were too many recipients of my email ,and that these are limited in order to minimise spam.
I have several circles of friends who communicate with each other, and I therefore need to be able to send emails to a number of recipients.

The .que file continues to grow when Premium Journaling is enabled to Mimecast.
When journaling rule and its' send connector is dsabled the .que file does not grow in size.
No white space in .que file ( tried to defrag it). The size is couple MB without journaling - when queue is recreated and journaling is disabled. With Journaling is keeps on growing and has gone to 20-25GB.
We are using AV anti-spam solution and it has setup its own transport agent.

I am using the condition, "when a recipient's address contains specific words". The SMTP alias is not the primary email address for the mailbox. Thank you in advance for all assistance.
