blocked using FBLW15

$

Good morning,
we have a problem with sending emails from domain @macauditor.pl to domains which are hosted on Outlook.com or protected by Microsoft Forefront. Problem occurred after we changed IP address of our mail server. We have set MX, revDNS and SPF records correctly, but still are getting the following NDR:
"550 5.7.1 Service unavailable; Client host [217.67.215.242] blocked using FBLW15; To request removal from this list To request removal from this list please forward this message to delist@messaging.microsoft.com".
I have sent email to "delist@messaging.microsoft.com" but didn't get any response other than this:
"Thank you for your delisting request SRX1244578730ID. Your ticket was received on (Apr 28 2014 11:11 AM UTC) and will be responded to within 24 hours."
It has been nearly 2 days since our first request and we are still unable to send emails to domains: @bbdo.com.pl, @mediadirection.com.pl, @ideatfi.pl, @inventumtfi.pl. Those domains belong to our important clients, so this is a huge problem for us.

We have already checked our IP at http://www.anti-abuse.org/ and it seems that we are 'clean' everywhere. Only MS is blocking our emails.

Kind Regards,

Queue Problems - 451 4.4.0 DNS Querry Error

$

0

Our Current set up:

Server1: Hubtransport, Mailbox Server
Server2: CAS, Hubtransport server
Server3: Exchange 2k3 mailbox server

Our issue is we are unable to send email to a specific domain. It doesn't matter if the person sending the mail is on the 2k7 or 2k3 mailbox server. The queue's last error states: "451 4.4.0 DNS query Failed."

I can however do a NSlookup from the machine, and telnet to their mailservers on port 25 and get a helo response.

I have enabled send connector protocol logging and nothing even shows up in the log about trying to contact this domain.

I am at a loss as to where to look next. How does exchange 2007 handle its DNS resolution. Please help.

Thanks

E2007 SP3 journaling problem

We're using Exchange 2007 SP3.

I've got tons of messages in my outbound queue, that are in a retry state. They're all to my journaling mailbox and have the following value for Last Error:

430 4.2.0 STOREDRV.Deliver.Exception:MapiExceptionNotEnoughDisk

None of the messages are over-size and I verified the Transport service's logon account is Network Service. I also ran Test-ServiceHealth, which came backup clean.

Per http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb691172(v=exchg.80).aspx, I should be able to use the Mail Flow Troubleshooter tool, to learn more, but I don't see anything useful. I checked for trouble with message queues backing up and messages not being received by some recipients. Both only returned informational messages.

What else should I be looking at? Thanks.

Error 0x800ccc69 on pop3 connector

I upgraded a client from 2003 SBS to 2008 SBS three months ago. Everything has been running fine until a week ago. One client noticed that they were not getting email anymore. I looked in the error logs and the pop3connector.log and this is the message I get:

An error occurred while delivering mail to 'user@user.com' on the SMTP server 'localhost'. The error code was 0x800ccc69. Verify that the mailbox exists and that the Exchange receive connectors are configured properly.

After looking at the error logs, this issue deals with 6 of the 14 users.I noticed that the pop3 configuration didn't have the exchange mailbox for the user in the settings anymore. I have pointed the connector back to the mailbox but still nothing. I have added a listing for smtp from the isp under the hub transport in exchange and still no change. I removed the user completely and then re-added them. Still nothing. I have stopped all the exchange services and even rebooted. Still nothing works.

messages, being retrieved via POP3, are having their alias being replaced by its primary smtp address

We use a CRM tool (Deerfield's VisNetic Mailflow) that POP's into Exchange 2007 to access their mailboxes.  Senders of email to this mailbox use one of many alias' assigned to the mailbox.  The issue we are having is that the alias (ie secondary address) is being replaced by the mailbox's primary address.

NB When I perform a test without POP'ing  (ie send\receive testing directly between a private external email address and my Exchange mailbox, back and forth), I am successful in retaining the secondary address.

Any idea what is causing the address to change from the alias (ie secondary) to the primary address when POP'ing?  POP does seem to be the variable here...just not sure what I should be looking at in order to fix this issue.

Andrew

Hidden addresses in distribution list?

$

Is it possible to create an Exchange Server 2007 (server based) distribution list where the individual email addresses cannot be viewed by everyone? Ideally the list name would only be available to a select few. I need a list that a few employees need access to but I don't want all employees to have access to the email addresses in the list. Some of the list recipients use their private email addresses and don't want everyone seeing them.

Thanks!

I am trying to use a transport rule to catch any email with a loan number. A loan number us exactly 10 digits long. If I use \d\d\d\d\d\d\d\d\d\d everything works as expected. However, if I understand correctly, this will also trap 11and 12 digit numbers. I though to use ^ at the beginning and $ at end to prevent this, but it will no longer trap "Loan number 1234567890 for John Doe". What are the delimeters for ^ and $ if no it as space?  Thanks. I'm new at this. -John

Can not receive email from outside the domain.

Hello,

My company recently upgraded from exchange 2003 to 2010. The upgrade went find but now a week later, there are 3 folks that cant receive emails from outside the domain. I checked the active domain settings and everything there is correct. I looked in the email accounts and the settings are fine. The ports are open.

Here is the odd part. We have 5 active domains on this one exchange. One is @gl****llc.com and another is @gt-sol. All the other users are able to get external emails except for these 3 users. It will happen on there outlook on windows and webmail. Im not sure what is going on or what the problem might be. Please let me know if you need additional information. Im lost.

global/send/receive message size limit increased, but still not allowing messages in

I have set the global/send/receive connectors to allow send and receive of attachments up to 40mb, and still we are unable to receive or send attachments larger than 10mb.   Is there some other size limit that needs to be changed?  I have read that it can take up to several hours for this to take effect.  I have waited about 2 hours so far.

We are Exchange 2007 sp3 on Win2003 server.  Outlook is a mix of 2003/2007/2010.

Thanks, Linda

530 5.7.1 client was not authenticated

OK, I am not in control of an exchange server.  My company uses GoDaddy for our exchange server.  I am an employee.  We use a software for contact management.  When I try to send emails to say a group of customers, it gives me the error 530 5.7.1 client was not authenticated.  I have talked to GoDaddy until I am blue in the face to no avail.  Everything I find says it is something on their end.  By the way, we just switched to them, we have absolutely no problem with our previous company that we had exchange with.  ANY help would be appreciated.  OF course our outlook works.

The only information our software (called RPMS) requires is the SMTP server  which I enter   smtp.ex3.secureserver.net

my email address      (*****@alliedsm.com

user name which they say is the same as email address  (*****@alliedsm.com) and password. My old exchange service had me use port 27, but new company says I have to use 587.

exchange 2003 - bulk create smtp contacts from user objects, bulk forward to smtp contacts, bulk turn off forwarding

$

Exchange 2003 running on Windows server 2003.  ~50 Users all in same OU on same domain with primary email address mailnickname@domain1.com.  objective is to create smtp contacts from each of the user objects imported back into the same domain in a different OU with mail, targetAddress, proxyAddresses/SMTP on the contacts being mailnickname@domain2.com and the options 'automatically update email addresses based on recipient policy' disabled and hidden from GAL for all.   At a later time will require a method to bulk forward all of the user objects to their corresponding  mailnickname@domain2.com contact object and a way to to bulk disable the forwarding at a later time.

ldifde created the contacts via export/import but Exchange seems to like rewriting the mail & proxyaddresses  or replacing domain2.com with one of the internal recipient policy domains requiring manual change in AD.

ldifde -f export-01.ldf -s dc1.domain1.com -d "OU=Users,OU=people,DC=domain1,DC=com" -r "(&(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=user)(givenname=*))" -l "cn,givenName,objectclass,samAccountName,mail,physicalDeliveryOfficeName,displayName,name,description,sn,targetAddress"

ldifde -i -f import-test-01.ldf -s dc1.domain1.com

I'm then using ADModify.net to bulk modify hide from address lists attribute and correct the mail, targetaddress, proxyaddress attributes, possibly forwarding as well.  The process is clunky compared to something like powershell on Exchange 2010.  Am I going about this the wrong way?

Default Receive Connector IP Ranges

$

There have been tons of articles about Receive Connectors and how to set them up, but I have not seen much on whether it is ok to modify the IP range on the Default server Receive Connector. I want to remove Anonymous on the Receive Connector and instead create a dedicated Receive Connector to accept email from our DMZ mail gateways. I assume I will only need to specify the IP addresses of the mail gateways to accept Internet email because the Exchange servers will only be seeing the IP of the gateways and do not therefore need the whole default range. What Permissions and Authentication would be needed on that Connector?

Second, since the Default Connector has this wide range of IPs, is it ok to remove that range and instead restrict it to the IP addresses of the Exchange servers? we have relay connectors setup too, but I am trying to restrict it down even further so that other internal clients cannot send mail either to internal users or external users. High security requirements.

journaling and retention policies

$

Hello

I have an exchange 2010 sp2 server with journaling enabled on all databases.

All messages received are sent to the journal database.

Is it possible to exclude this for specific types of messages or specific sender?

This would apply to items like systems status and alerts, or messages from our backup system.

I want to receive the email but do not want it sent to the journal.

The journal has a 1 year retention policy applied to it but there is no reason for messages of the types to be journaled and retained for one year.

Thanks in advance!
