Assigning rights to a mail enabled public folder not working.

Hi,

I have a mail enabled public folder acting weirdly.. or I just figure it out.

I create it from the Server and our exchange admin is the owner.. I dont seem to be able to change the owner of it.

I create it from my Outlook 2013 client.. I can change now create rights to other people.. however the email I Assigned to it Bounces back repeatedly.

Ive looked in Active directory ( with advanced options enabled ) for the email in the exchange OU but all I see ar epublic folders. When i delete my Public folder in exchange I see it go away in active directory.

Not sure if something has not deleted fully.. I think I really just need to grant ownership privileges to myself from the exchange admin account.. who currently is the owner.  The powershell command seems to work to give me admin access.. but I Still cant give someone rights.. ie I see no Permissions tab with I right click the public folder.

thanks - josh.
